Aggregates Services

THE KNELSEN DIFFERENCE: Aggregate Crushing + Recycling Services:

To achieve maximum proctor efficiency during the crushing process, we separate all the sand from the natural pit run, then run all stones through the cone of the crusher to achieve maximum fracture. The higher the fracture count, the quicker it is to achieve 100% compaction.

This detail is often skipped by our competitors, as they often screen out stones smaller than the desired crush grade then add them back into the crushed product after the crushing process. By comparison, our practice of crushing enables us to offer our clients a higher quality product so they can get 100% compaction more quickly and at a lower cost.

Our asphalt plants are equipped with Bag House Recyclers that filter out most of the dust and fumes that would normally go out the exhaust stack and into the atmosphere. We funnel those waste products directly back into the asphalt mix to be used in surfacing our roads.

What Our Clients Say

“I worked with Brett and Leon to order some gravel for my property, and they were so great to work with. There was a misunderstanding with my first order, and within the same day, I was able to go to their office, file a new order, get the new order delivered, and receive a refund for the difference in a smooth and professional manner. I highly recommend ordering from knelsen due to the quality of their product, the reliability of their service, and the exceptional customer service. “I went there this morning to see about driveway gravel and top soil. I was shocked when I was told that both items could be delivered to my residence within an hour. I went back home and sure enough the top soil was there within an hour and the driveway gravel shortly after. The driver did an excellent job spreading the gravel and was professional and courteous. Thank you so much. I have had so many negative experiences with contractors and suppliers in Grand Prairie that this company stands out as being excellent with great prices, THANK YOU!”
